Maryland Quiet Vehicles and Pedestrian Safety Task Force

Synopsis:

Establishing a Maryland Quiet Vehicles and Pedestrian Safety Task Force; providing for the membership, duties, and staffing of the Task Force; prohibiting a member of the Task Force from receiving specified compensation; authorizing a member of the Task Force to receive specified reimbursement; requiring the Task Force to study the effects of vehicle sound on pedestrian safety, and technology available to enhance safety of blind pedestrians; requiring the Task Force to report to the General Assembly by December 31, 2008; etc.
