The Open Government Modernization Fund Act

Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland Government Modernization Fund; requiring the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Delegates to administer the fund; specifying that the fund may be used only to increase the ability of the public to observe and participate in the legislative process; requiring that the balance remaining in the Lobbyist Registration Fund at the end of a fiscal year be distributed to the Maryland Government Modernization Fund; increasing the lobbyist registration fee to $250; etc.
