Public Safety - Task Force on SWAT Team Activation and Deployment

Synopsis:

Establishing a Task Force on SWAT Team Activation and Deployment; requiring the Governor's Office of Crime Control and Prevention to report to the Task Force specified analyses and summaries relating to the activation and deployment of specified SWAT teams; requiring the Task Force to annually review the report and, based on the review, to make recommendations for and annually review regulations establishing qualifications, standards, and prerequisites for a law enforcement officer assigned to a SWAT team by a law enforcement agency; etc.
