Entitled:
The Marcellus Shale Safe Drilling Act of 2011

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of the Environment and the Department of Natural Resources jointly to convene an Advisory Commission to make recommendations to the Departments on conditions that should be included in permits for hydraulic fracturing in the Marcellus Shale, and on appropriate changes, if any, to state law and regulations governing hydraulic fracturing in the Marcellus Shale; requiring the Departments to jointly publish a report on findings, conclusions, and recommendations on or before August 1, 2013; etc.
