Legislative Audits - Joint Audit Committee Recommendations

Synopsis:

Requiring, rather than authorizing, the Joint Audit Committee to recommend to the Governor and the Comptroller that specified units of government take specified corrective actions to correct specified findings in audit reports of a fiscal/compliance nature; repealing the authority of the Joint Audit Committee to grant a waiver from specified recommended actions made to specified units of government; etc.
