Synopsis:

Making it a felony to use a firearm in specified ways on school property; prohibiting a District Court commissioner from releasing pretrial a defendant charged with a crime of violence or firearms offenses; increasing specified criminal penalties for a person who is convicted of possessing a regulated firearm after having been previously convicted of a crime of violence or a specified felony; etc.
