Synopsis:

Authorizing individuals to establish health care savings accounts eligible for specified tax benefits for the purpose of paying eligible health care expenses; authorizing an employer of an individual to contribute to an individual's health care savings account; providing a subtraction modification under the Maryland income tax for specified amounts contributed to an individual's health care savings account; providing an addition modification for specified amounts distributed to an account; etc.
