Education - National Board for Professional Teaching Standards - Salary Bonus for Teachers and Other Instructional Educators

Synopsis:

Providing that specified individuals employed by a public school employer who meet specified certification standards are eligible to receive a specified salary supplement, subject to conditions; providing that the salary supplement may be made available only to employees who complete specified certification requirements by a specified date; providing that the salary supplement may continue only for a specified period; requiring the State to reimburse the counties for the supplemental salary payments; etc.
