Licensed Physical Therapist, etc - Scope of Practice - Topical Pharmaceutical Agents

Synopsis:

Authorizing licensed physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and chiropractors with physical therapy privileges to apply to the skin of a patient specified topical pharmaceutical agents in accordance with specified standards; providing that the Act does not authorize specified physical therapy licensees to prescribe or dispense topical pharmaceutical agents; requiring the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, under specified circumstances, to adopt specified regulations and lists; etc.
