Entitled:
Student Health Promotion Act of 2004

Synopsis:

Requiring a county board of education to include the importance of physical activity in maintaining good health as part of its health education instruction; requiring the State Board of Education to enhance programs of physical education; prohibiting vending machines in elementary schools; prohibiting the operation of vending machines in middle schools until the end of the last class and in high schools until the end of the last lunch period; requiring each public school to install a timing device on each vending machine; etc.
