Health Maintenance Organizations and Insurers - Rates and Contracts

Synopsis:

Providing that the Insurance Commissioner shall review specified filings by health maintenance organizations; providing grounds for disapproval of a filing; and providing that the Commissioner shall provide to certain filers a notice of disapproval; altering a certain waiting period before which certain amendments proposed by a nonprofit health service plan may become effective under certain circumstances; etc.
