Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to submit requests for a State Medicaid plan amendment and a Section 1115 waiver to the federal Health Care Financing Administration; expanding eligibility under the Maryland Medical Assistance Program to parents at or below a specified income subject to the limitations of federal law or waiver; establishing the Low-Income Working Parents Health Care Program subject to the limitations of federal law or waiver; establishing eligibility criteria for the Program; etc.
