Education - Maryland Extended Learning Pilot Program

Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland Extended Learning Pilot Program; authorizing a county board of education to develop a proposal for an educational curriculum in reading, writing, or math for after school or during the summer months; requiring the State Board of Education to review and select county board proposals for implementation; requiring the State Board to solicit proposals, develop and distribute a list of instructional providers, establish criteria to implement the Pilot Program, establish reporting criteria, and adopt regulations; etc.
