Public Service Commission - Telephone Rates - Competition

Synopsis:

Declaring specified findings of the General Assembly; requiring the Public Service Commission (PSC) to undertake efforts to increase competition in local and interLATA intrastate telephone services for residential customers; and requiring the PSC to report to specified committees of the General Assembly by January 1, 2003, and January 1, 2004, on its progress in enhancing competition in those telephone services in the State.
