Public Utilities - Underground Facilities - Liability for Excavation or Demolition Damages

Synopsis:

Limiting the liability of a person who damages underground facilities due to excavation or demolition under specified circumstances; providing that an owner of underground facilities is liable for specified damages caused by excavation or demolition if the owner does not belong to a one-call system as an owner-member; providing for the construction of provisions of the Act; defining a term; and providing for the prospective application of the Act.
