Synopsis:

Altering various provisions of the Maryland Human Relations Commission law; requiring that an administrative law judge, rather than a hearing examiner, hear specified cases; expanding the relief available for acts of discrimination to include the award of compensatory damages to the complainant, subject to specified limitations; authorizing the award of attorney's fees to specified prevailing parties, and the award of expert witness fees to a prevailing party and to the Commission, under specified circumstances; etc.
