Entitled:
Gun Safety Act of 2002

Synopsis:

Requiring on or after January 1, 2004, that an applicant to purchase, rent, or transfer a regulated firearm demonstrate competency in completing a certified firearms safety training course; increasing the penalties for a person found guilty of storing or leaving a loaded firearm in a location where the person knew or should have known that an unsupervised child would gain access to the firearm; etc.
