Private Passenger Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance - Coverage for Claims of Family Members

Synopsis:

Requiring an insurer to offer to the first named insured under a policy or binder of private passenger motor vehicle liability insurance liability coverage for claims made by family members in the same amount as the liability coverage for claims made by nonfamily members; requiring the Insurance Commissioner to make a specified study and report by January 12, 2006; etc.
