Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 336 - Harford County Liquor Control Board - Service of Summonses by Inspectors of the Board.

This bill authorizes, that in Harford County, for summonses for witnesses issued by the Liquor Control Board for the purpose of hearings and inquiries, the board is authorized to hold or make to be served by inspectors employed by the board.

Senate Bill 225, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on April 27, 2004, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 336.
