Criminal Law - "Student Protection Act of 2010"

Synopsis:

Establishing penalties for the crime of sexual offense in the fourth degree between a person in a position of authority and a minor student; establishing increased penalties for a specified violation if the offender was previously convicted of a specified sexual offense; and requiring the State to comply with specified procedural rules relating to the indictment and trial of a subsequent offender under specified circumstances.
