Synopsis:

Requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to authorize a specified accrediting body to inspect specified forensic laboratories; requiring a forensic laboratory to obtain accreditation from a specified accreditation body before applying for a license; requiring the Secretary to approve an accreditation body to accredit forensic laboratories in the State; directing the Forensic Laboratory Advisory Committee to advise the Secretary on specified matters; etc.
