Vehicle Laws - Alcoholic Beverages - Open Containers

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from keeping a bottle, can, or other container in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle while that vehicle is on a highway if that bottle, can, or container contains alcohol and is or has had its seal broken or its contents partially removed; providing that the Act does not prohibit a person other than the driver from possessing the bottle, can, or other container in a bus, Class B (for hire) vehicle, or the living quarters of a mobile home; setting penalties; etc.
