Vehicle Laws - Speeding Violations by Minors - Notification of Parent or Guardian

Synopsis:

Requiring the MVA to notify the parent, guardian, or other cosigner of a minor's driver's license application if a citation is issued to the minor charging the minor with driving at 20 mph or more above the speed limit; providing for certain notification procedures; requiring an individual who cosigns a minor's application for a driver's license to provide the individual's mailing address to the MVA; providing that certain evidence is not admissible in certain proceedings; and providing for the construction and applicability of the Act.
