Charitable Solicitations - Professional Solicitors

Synopsis:

Altering the definition of professional solicitor under the Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act to include persons who, for pay, solicit or receive contributions for an ambulance, fire fighting, fire chiefs, or rescue organization, personally or through an associate solicitor; and providing that the Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act applies to a professional solicitor employed by a volunteer organization of fire fighters or rescue or ambulance personnel.
