Synopsis:

Increasing from $50,000 to $100,000 the amount of death benefits paid to the surviving spouses, children, or dependent parents of certain law enforcement officers, sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, correctional officers, volunteer or professional firefighters or rescue squad members, or State Fire Marshals who are killed or die in the performance of duties.
