Synopsis:

Creating a State Debt not to exceed $525,000, with a matching fund requirement, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Directors of the Constellation Foundation, Inc. for the design, repair, restoration, improvement, and preservation of the U.S.S. Constellation; and requiring the grantee to petition the Secretary of the United States Navy to grant and convey to the Maryland Historical Trust a specified covenant on the historic vessel.
