Synopsis:

Allowing the imposition of additional fines and terms of imprisonment on a person convicted of assault on a sports official; requiring a court to consider whether to order a person convicted of assault on a sports official not to attend or participate, for a period not to exceed 3 years, in sports events which will be officiated by sports officials; defining sports officials; and generally relating to assault on sports officials.
