Synopsis:

Allowing a credit against the State income tax for contributions up to $500 in a taxable year to a school tuition organization, as defined; allowing a credit against the State income tax for up to $200 in amounts paid or contributions made to a public school in the State for school activities; providing for the carryforward of unused credits; defining terms; providing for a reduction of itemized deductions if specified credits are claimed; applying the Act to tax years after 1997; etc.
