Education - Transportation of School Students

Synopsis:

Establishing seating capacity requirements for public school buses; specifying the requirements for the transportation of students on school buses; requiring a school bus driver to notify the county board of education in the event that the school bus is required to be out of compliance with the requirements of the Act; requiring the county board to correct the situation within 72 hours or 30 days if the situation occurs at the beginning of the school year; and requiring the State Board of Education to adopt regulations.
