Entitled:
Nutrient Management Practices Improvement Act of 1998

Synopsis:

Authorizing the disbursement of specified cost sharing funds for poultry manure storage facilities; providing for a poultry litter matching service and a Poultry Litter Transportation Pilot Project; requiring nutrient management plans to be developed with the consideration of specified factors; establishing an Animal Waste Technology Fund to provide specified financial assistance; providing for certain income tax credits and other tax benefits; and generally relating to nutrient management practices.
