Synopsis:

Requiring a medical student who is applying for a license in Maryland to successfully complete a specified pain management or palliative care course; exempting specified applicants from the requirement to complete the course; requiring a physician who is renewing a license to successfully complete a pain management or palliative care course within the immediate renewal period; providing for the effective date of the requirement to take a specified course as a condition of licensure renewal; etc.
