Synopsis:

Establishing a Task Force to Study Lighting Efficiency and Light Pollution in Maryland; requiring the Task Force to study the cost, extent, causes, and consequences of current public lighting standards and policies and light pollution in Maryland; providing for the membership and appointment of the Task Force; requiring the Department of General Services to coordinate the professional and administrative support of the Task Force; and requiring the Task Force to issue a final report to the General Assembly by February 1, 2002.
