Circuit Courts - Rental of Space for Clerks of Court

Synopsis:

Requiring each State budget to include an appropriation to the Department of General Services to pay rent to counties for space occupied in county facilities by the clerks of the circuit courts; requiring the rent to be $10 per net usable square foot; prohibiting counties from decreasing the net usable square footage allocated to the clerks of the circuit courts; and requiring counties to use the savings from the Act for the circuit courts or related public safety purposes.
