Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland Teacher Loan Repayment Assistance Program; requiring the State Scholarship Administration to assist in the repayment of student loans owed by specified teachers who teach in Title I, reconstituted, or reconstitution eligible schools, or in specified subject areas; establishing maximum annual and aggregate amounts of loan assistance; limiting the period of eligibility for loan assistance to 4 years; etc.
