Controlled Dangerous Substances - Dispensing Monitoring Program

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to establish an electronic monitoring program of controlled dangerous substances dispensed in the State; requiring dispensers of controlled dangerous substances to report specified data to the Department; requiring that the data be transmitted in an electronic format; authorizing the Department to provide the data to specified individuals; prohibiting authorized individuals who receive the data from providing the information to anyone else except by order of a specified court; etc.
