Clean Indoor Air Act of 2003

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from smoking in indoor areas open to the public and places of employment; creating the Clean Indoor Air Act in the Health - General Article; authorizing the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation to adopt regulations to implement the provisions of the prohibition; requiring these departments to report to the General Assembly; establishing civil penalties and fines for the violation of the Act; etc.
