Synopsis:

Authorizing the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to establish a specified preferred drug list; requiring the Department to implement specified benefits to offset Medicaid expenditures; establishing the State Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee within the Department for the purpose of developing a specified preferred drug list; requiring the Department to implement specified procedures for prescription drugs that are subject to prior authorization; etc.
