Synopsis:

Establishing parole eligibility for specified nonviolent offenders who are ordered to undergo drug or alcohol treatment; authorizing a State's Attorney, on request of the defendant or on the State's Attorney's own motion, to agree to the disposition of nolle prosequi with a requirement for drug or alcohol treatment or stet with a requirement for drug or alcohol treatment for specified defendants; authorizing a court, under specified circumstances, to enter a specified order; etc.
