Maryland Uniform Transfers to Minors Act - Qualified Minor's Trust

Synopsis:

Authorizing a custodian for a minor under the Maryland Uniform Transfers to Minors Act to transfer part or all of the custodial property to a qualified minor's trust without a court order under specified circumstances; providing that the transfer of custodial property to a qualified minor's trust terminates the custodianship of that property to the extent of the transfer; defining "qualified minor's trust"; and providing for the application of the Act.
