Driver Responsibility and First Responders Fund Act

Synopsis:

Establishing the First Responders Fund to provide grants to pay for equipment and personnel for fire, rescue, and emergency medical services entities and local law enforcement agencies; requiring the Director of the Maryland Emergency Management Agency to administer the Fund; requiring an individual to pay specified fees for points assessed against the individual's driving record over a specified number of points or for convictions of specified alcohol- or drug-related offenses; etc.
