Creation of a State Debt - Calvert County - Project ECHO Homeless Shelter

Synopsis:

Authorizing the creation of a State Debt not to exceed $300,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Directors of Project ECHO, Inc. for the demolition of an existing homeless shelter, and the planning, design, construction, and capital equipping of ECHO House; providing for disbursement of the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a matching fund; prohibiting the use of the loan proceeds and matching fund for sectarian religious purposes; etc.
