Public Service Companies - Mergers, Acquisitions, and Financing

Synopsis:

Altering specified provisions on acquisition and issuance of stock and debt by public service companies incorporated in the State to apply to public service companies operating in the State; prohibiting a person from acquiring specified public service companies without prior approval from the Public Service Commission; providing for the application and review of proposed acquisitions; establishing required factors for the Commission to consider; etc.
