Criminal Procedure - Conditions of Probation - Protective Orders

Synopsis:

Authorizing a court, when placing a defendant on probation or probation before judgment who has been convicted of a specified crime, to issue a specified protective order to the victim of the crime on the motion of the victim or specified other individual and to require the defendant to comply with the order as a condition of probation; and establishing an exception to a requirement that a final protective order be issued only to a person who has filed a specified petition.
