Income Tax Credits for Green Buildings - Additional Credits Authorized

Synopsis:

Altering eligibility requirements for the green building tax credits; allowing an individual or business entity to transfer green building tax credits to another individual or business entity under specified circumstances; authorizing an individual or business entity to whom a green building tax credit is transferred to claim a credit against the Maryland income tax; increasing the maximum annual and aggregate amount of initial credit certificates that the Maryland Energy Administration may issue; defining the term "business entity"; etc.
