Synopsis:

Requiring an electric company to include an option on a customer's monthly bill to add a specified voluntary charge to be paid to the Maryland Strategic Energy Investment Fund for purposes related to creating new solar energy resources in the State; renaming the Solar Energy Grant Program to be the Solar and Wind Energy Grant Program; adding wind projects to the allowable recipients of grants under the Program; limiting grants under the Program; etc.
