Synopsis
Establishing the Soccer Opportunities Program in the State Department of Education to increase opportunities for minority students to participate in soccer in their communities; authorizing an agency or youth soccer nonprofit organization to apply for a grant from the Department in furtherance of the purpose of the Program; and requiring the Governor for fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year thereafter, to include an appropriation of at least $80,000 for the Program in the annual budget bill.
