Synopsis

Altering the responsibilities of the Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to include maintaining an estimate of the number of deaf and hard of hearing individuals in the State and requiring the Office to include the estimate in its annual report; and requiring the Office to identify and facilitate opportunities for underinsured individuals to gain equal and affordable access to hearing aids.
