Synopsis
Requiring the Department of the Environment to publish a statewide flood risk assessment map projected to the year 2050, educate the public on certain information, and establish a certain model floodplain ordinance by July 1, 2024; requiring certain units of local government to submit to the Department for review a proposed floodplain ordinance by July 1, 2025; and requiring the Department to approve a proposed ordinance or provide notice of certain revisions to the ordinance on or before September 1, 2025.
