Synopsis
Requiring the University System of Maryland to conduct a study to evaluate the relationship between climate change, homeowner's insurance, and emergency and disaster preparedness; requiring the University, by July 1, 2027, to submit its report to the General Assembly addressing the current state of the National Flood Insurance Program and the private flood insurance market and recommendations on the how the State can incentivize residents to invest in home protection from extreme weather events; etc.
