Synopsis

Altering the definition of "home improvement" to include certain disaster mitigation services for purposes of licensing and regulations of home improvement contractors; exempting certain home improvement contractors from certain licensing requirements; authorizing a certain owner to rescind a home improvement contract for disaster mitigation services under certain circumstances; authorizing the governing body of a county to impose certain limitations on in-person solicitation of a victim of a disaster by a certain contractor; etc.
